Bering Yachts Introduces New B72 Explorer Yacht for Family Expeditions
US-based Bering Yachts has revealed their new steel-hulled B72 Explorer Yacht, a compact steel-hulled expedition yacht capable of any ocean crossing.
Bering Yachts has revealed their latest yacht design, the compact but extremely capable B72 Explorer Yacht.
Based in the USA but building from their shipyard in Antalya, Turkey, Bering Yachts build semi-custom steel-hulled expedition yachts and “luxury steel trawler yachts” ranging from 65ft up to 145ft.
Designed as the evolution of the already successful Bering 65, the Bering B72 Explorer Yacht borrowed from the tried-and-tested platform of the 65 and was developed after collecting feedback from owners and captains of the Bering 65.
The result? A larger steel-hulled yacht capable of any ocean crossing but still offering a luxury cruising experience for friends and family.
Laid out over three decks, the Bering B72 Explorer Yacht includes ample entertaining areas and features a large salon on the main deck with a full-width galley and pilothouse on a raised level, along with an open-air alfresco dining area and sun lounge on the foredeck.
The lower deck of the B72 offers several different layout configurations for guest accommodation and comes standard with three guest suites and a full-beam master suite forward. Alternatively, owners can opt for a five or even six suite layout (with or without crew cabin).
Compact by design, Bering Yachts’s new explorer yacht is equipped with storage for one large (or two small) tenders, and with a range of more than 5000 nm at a cruising speed of 7 knots, the Bering 72 Explorer Yacht is ideal for extended voyaging off the beaten track.
