Limited Edition Polaris Slingshot Grand Touring LE Made for Roadtrips

The new Polaris Grand Touring LE is a three-wheeled roadster made for road trips (as long as you don’t need much luggage).

Described as the ultimate cruiser, the new Polaris Slingshot Grand Touring LE is the latest three-wheeled roadster in Polaris’s 2020 lineup.

Limited to only 300 vehicles, the open cockpit “autocycle” is the top of the range comfort model in Polaris’s Slingshot range and comes in an exclusive “Fairway Green” color with bronze accents and special-edition bronze wheels.

Distinguished by the Slingshade top that shades the driver and passenger from the elements, the Grand Touring LE is powered by a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine producing 178hp, and now more than ever is made for road trips along the coastline to your favorite surf spot or mountain lookout.

The new Polaris Grand Touring LE now comes with AutoDrive transmission giving drivers an automatic-like driving experience, opening up the driving opportunity to people who are unable to drive stick shift as it does away with the clutch pedal and manual shifting.

Although the Polaris Slingshot Grand Touring LE isn’t classified as an automobile (it does not have airbags or meet automotive safety standards) it still comes with many of the mod-cons including built-in GPS navigation, 100-wat Rockford Fosgate sound system, reverse camera and the ability to upgrade to quilted heated and cooled seats (thermoelectric technology with three settings – low, medium & high).

“With superior comfort, convenient technology, and head-turning styling, the Grand Touring LE transforms daily driving into unforgettable adventures,” said Chris Sergeant, Vice President of Polaris Slingshot. “Premium amenities set the Grand Touring LE apart from the rest of the Slingshot lineup, while Slingshot’s new ProStar 2.0L powertrain, AutoDrive transmission, and redesigned interior ensures that driving a Slingshot elevates an ordinary commute into an extraordinary driving experience.”

Prices for the limited edition Polaris Grand Touring LE start from US$33,999 and are available from Polaris Slingshot dealers worldwide.
