Rafeal Nadal’s New Yacht Is a Sunreef 80 Power Yacht Catamaran
Champion tennis player Rafael Nadal has taken delivery of his new Sunreef 80 Power Yacht Catamaran in his hometown of Mallorca.
Tennis player Rafael Nadal has officially taken delivery of his new Sunreef 80 Power Yacht in his hometown of Mallorca after it was launched at the Sunreef Shipyard in Poland last month.
Having enjoyed yachting since childhood and previously chartered a Sunreef catamaran prior to the purchase of his own, the professional tennis player commissioned the build of the Sunreef 80 Power yacht after meeting the founder of Sunreef at the 2018 Cannes Yachting Festival. The purchase of his own Sunreef yacht created the opportunity for his family to continue enjoying holidays on the water while infusing their own style and flair into the build.
Sharing on the experience of delivering the yacht, President and Founder of Sunreef Yachts Francis Lapp said, “This is an unforgettable event for our shipyard to hand over the yacht to such an amazing person and athlete as Rafael Nadal. My team in Gdańsk made every effort to create the yacht Rafa and his wife Maria dreamed of. I am convinced that they will have a great time with their friends and family on board.”
The Sunreef 80 Power yacht is an ultramodern catamaran featuring over 360m2 of living area spread across the two hulls of the boat and has been created for long-distance offshore cruising in comfort.
The interior of Nadal’s catamaran features shades of beige, cream and coffee throughout with all aspects of the interior have been fully personalized, including an expansive main deck saloon that opens directly onto the front terrace, an owner’s suite with a private side opening balcony and guest suites with their own ensuite bathrooms.
Other notable features of the yacht include a flybridge with a wet bar & BBQ for entertaining, a separate relaxation area, and plenty of room for a jet ski for when guests want to take to the water.
