Following the official launch and delivery to her owner late last year, Tankoa Yachts have shared the first images of Olokun as she heads to the Côte d’Azur for the summer season.

Begun as an on-spec project, Olokun was already halfway through construction before being sold by Camper & Nicholsons in March 2020 to the new owner. Working with Francesco Paszkowski (exterior & interior design), Camper & Nicholsons, who projected managed the build, and the owner’s team lead by Casadio Miami, Tankoa Yachts were still able to customize the superyacht to suit the owner’s needs even at the later stage in the project.

“This was a very stimulating project as the experienced client signed the contract when the boat was already 50 percent complete,” shared Giuseppe Mazza, Tankoa Yachts Sales Manager. “By collaborating with both C&N and the owner’s team, headed up by Casadio Miami, we were able to deliver a beautiful yacht that fully met the client’s expectations. I’m sure that the sporty lines of the 50-meter Tankoa combined with this new and catchy hull color will grab the attention of many enthusiasts in the most prestigious marinas in the world.”

While similar in appearance to her predecessors “Bintador” and Vertige” in terms of design, Olokun’s distinctive black hull received an advanced high-performance coating that reduces the temperature of the metal in sunlight by up to 10°C and will likely be applied to the next two builds currently being completed by Tankoa.
