Art Basel Miami Beach | Miami, USA | 3 – 6 December 2020 (Canceled Due To COVID-19)
UPDATE: We regret to announce that the 2020 edition of Art Basel Miami Beach has been cancelled. Given the ongoing impact of the pandemic, which spans from South Florida to other parts of the country and the world, limitations and uncertainty about the staging of large-scale events, international travel restrictions and bans, as well as quarantine regulations within the United States and internationally, Art Basel has no other option but to cancel the 2020 edition of Art Basel in Miami Beach.
The next edition of Art Basel in Miami Beach will take place from December 2 to December 5, 2021, with preview days on December 1 and December 2, 2021.
Hosted annually in Basel, Switzerland, Miami Beach and Hong Kong, Art Basel is an international art fair that showcases the work of emerging and established contemporary artists to collectors and members of the public. In previous years, supercar brands like Lamborghini have even presented “artwork” pieces in the form of sketches or new designs.
This year Art Basel Miami Beach will run from December 3 through 6 and will bring together more than 4,000 artists and 269 leading international galleries at the Miami Beach Convention Center.

The Hofburg Silvesterball | Vienna, Australia
31st December 2020 (Canceled Due To COVID-19)
UPDATE: Due to the current situation and the unforeseeable development of worldwide travel restrictions, the HOFBURG Silvesterball will unfortunately not take place on December 31, 2020.
Since our ball guests have come to Vienna from more than 45 nations so far, we are unfortunately forced to take the situation into account. We thank you for your trust and we are confident that there will be a time for all of us to celebrate again.
Held in the Hofburg Palace, the Hofburg Silvesterball is the highlight of New Year’s Eve in the heart of Vienna. The program includes top-class performers from Vienna’s opera houses, dancers, bands and orchestras playing everything from waltz to jazz to modern pop, making your night at the former imperial winter residence truly unforgettable. In addition to a spellbinding opening ceremony, you will be treated to a fantastic midnight show and a firework display above the old town. Once the fireworks have subsided, keep dancing on until the early hours of the morning. There are plenty of attractions away from the dancefloor too: pick your own lucky four-leaf clover or attach your resolutions for the year ahead on the wish tree.
There are varying levels of tickets – some offering a full 4-course dinner, others reserved seats at a table (categorized by different ballrooms) while others are just entrance and nothing else. Guests can also choose to purchase Waltz dance lessons which are held at the palace earlier in the day (so that you feel confident to whirl around the dance floor later that evening)!
