Last year New York fashion and lifestyle brand Aimé Leon Dore joined forces with Porsche on a collaborative restoration of a Porsche 964 9111 Carrera 4 presented at New York Fashion Week 2020.
Now following on from the success of the first creation, Aimé Leon Dore has revealed a bespoke Porsche 911 Super Carrera inspired by the Greek heritage of ALD founder and Creative director Teddy Santis.

Featuring an exterior in the classic Porsche color “Olive” and an interior with bouclé fabric, full-grain leather, Persian carpets, and wooden-beaded covers across the custom restored Recaro seats, the 911SC is a fashion statement in itself and a fulfillment of a dream for Porsche enthusiast Teddy Santis.
“The vision for this project was always to portray the Super Carrera with a completely different type of intimacy than the 964 but in a way that would feel equally impactful,” says Teddy Santis. “The design of the vehicle and the creative direction for the project both come from my childhood on the Greek islands and the unique beauty of things that get better with age and wear in that environment.”

“Just like the first vehicle that we created as part of our partnership, the 911 SC is a characteristic interpretation of the 911 idea,” shared Robert Ader, Vice President Marketing (CMO) at Porsche AG. “I am delighted that we are not just able to show Porsche fans a fantastic project at the interface between sports cars and fashion, but also that we were able to help Teddy Santis to make his dream come true.”

Inspired by daily life and culture, Aimé Leon Dore was founded in 2014 and is currently headquartered in Queens, New York City, but the restored Porsche 911SC will be on display from 21 to 23 May at the NYC flagship store in Manhattan.
Taking inspiration from the restored Porsche 911SC, Aimé Leon Dore will also launch a capsule collection using materials and patterns used in the one-off design.
