Benetti Yachts Launches 213ft M/Y ZAZOU Superyacht
Benetti Yachts has launched their newest superyacht from their shipyard in Livorno, the eye-catching and custom-built 213ft “M/Y ZAZOU.”
Italian shipbuilder Benetti Yachts has launched their newest superyacht, the 213ft “M/Y ZAZOU”, at a special ceremony at their shipyard in Livorno.
Designed by Giorgio M. Cassetta for a repeat Benetti client, ZAZOU’s sleek lines are complemented by the eye-catching steel hull painted in Carinthia blue at the request of the owner.
Featuring one of the largest Sun Decks for a yacht of her size, Benetti has maximized ZAZOU’s deck space to include a 16ft infinity pool and gym and entertaining area at the stern that converts into an open-air cinema by night.
On the Upper Deck, the sky lounge has been designed to integrate naturally into the outdoor area and has been furnished with two custom-built L-shaped sofas and a dining space for eight people.
Inside, on the same deck, a massage room that can be converted into a VIP cabin precedes the wheelhouse with an integrated bridge, ship office, and on the left side of the ship, the captain’s cabin, and a pantry.
Below on the Lower Deck, the beach club features a storage space for water toys and a lounge area for guests to relax. It also offers immediate access at the stern, while a hatch on the left-hand side of ZAZOU converts into a second platform to access the water.
For the interior, Dutch-based Sinot Yacht Architecture & Design were responsible for the interior living spaces and several outdoor spaces, including many of the furnishings and custom-designed built-in furniture, bespoke cabinet handles, light fixtures, and chandeliers.
Built to accommodate 12 guests in 6 suites, M/Y ZAZOU’s rooms have been styled with warm tones and are finished with multiple types of wood such as oak, walnut, Macassar, ebony, and rosewood. Other luxury styling elements include various marbles, along with leathers and natural fabrics.
Powered by two Caterpillar 3512C engines, M/Y ZAZOU can navigate autonomously for 5,000 miles at a cruising speed of 15 knots and has a maximum speed of 16 knots.
Benetti has confirmed M/Y ZASOU will be delivered to her owner over the summer season.
