Strong demand for Bugatti’s in the USA has helped propel the North America to become the single largest market for the European-built hypercars.
With the upcoming celebrations of Independence Day on July 4 coinciding with the middle of the year, Bugatti has confirmed that new order sales for the first half of 2021 are up 7x compared to 2020.

After a successful U.S. roadshow late last year that saw Bugatti reveal the Chiron Pur Sport in the U.S. for the first time and the ongoing strong demand that ensued, the additional reveal of the new Chiron Super Sport announced on June 8 has continued the momentum for Bugatti to hit new sales records in 2021.
“These excellent results are, in large part, due to our engaged dealer network in North America,” said Cedric Davy, Chief Operating Officer of Bugatti of the Americas.

“Following the virtual debut of the Chiron Pur Sport, we brought the car to dealers across the region, where they were able to demonstrate the qualities of a completely new offer from Bugatti – a vehicle focused on agility and even faster acceleration, rather than top speed. In fact, 70% of Pur Sport orders came from customers who are new to the brand.”

With its optimized aerodynamics, a shorter gear ratio, and completely new tires, the Chiron Pur Sport is considered the most agile member of the Chiron family. In contrast, the new Chiron Super Sport is optimized for ultimate speed.
The Bugatti Chiron Pur Sport is priced at €3 million and is limited to 60 units. In comparison, the Bugatti Chiron Super Sport will cost €3.2 million and, with no production numbers announced as yet, is expected to make up part of the total Chiron production run of 500 vehicles.
