Fast & Furious Lykan HyperSport Will Be Auctioned As NFT
The last remaining Lykan HyperSport stunt car featured in the Fast & Furious 7 movie is being auctioned as the first physically-backed on-chain automotive NFT.
When the futuristic Lykan HyperSport came crashing through the glass between two high-rise buildings in Abu Dhabi in the 2015 Fast & Furious 7 film, few could have imagined the hypercar would be auctioned as a digital NFT some six years later.
As the last remaining stunt car used in the Fast & The Furious 7 film (one of ten created for the film starring Vin Diesel and the late Paul Walker), the W Motors Lykan HyperSport NFT is the first physically-backed on-chain automotive NFT in the world to provide the buyer full ownership of both the digital and physical automotive assets.
Being auctioned at Rubix Market, the highest bidder at the auction will receive an exclusive video of the NFT, a lifelike rendering of the stunt car, as well as the physical Lykan HyperSport stunt car that’s currently on display at the W Motors Gallery in Dubai, UAE.
The Lykan HyperSport NFT is backed by RubiX’s proprietary patented technology which incorporates the users’ Passwordless Digital Identity (DID) and unique QR Codes that require authentication for NFT access, preventing the loss or theft of keys.
The digital asset part of NFT is a hi-res encoded PNG collage of the Lykan HyperSport in PNG as a RubiX NFT stored on the RubiX blockchain, not on a centralized server, meaning ownership of the digital asset can’t be accessed by other parties and provides true ownership of the asset.
