It was during the 2016 Geneva International Motor Show that Bugatti revealed the Chiron hypercar to the world for the first time and only three years ago that the first Bugatti Chiron was delivered to one very happy customer.

Now this month, the artisans of Molsheim are putting the finishing touches on one very special edition that is set to be a show stopper at this years Geneva International Motor Show. The Blacked out Bugatti Chiron is the “Edition Noire Sportive” version and the 250th Chiron completed, marking the very middle of the total number of all Chiron’s ever to be made.

Remarking on the milestone moment Bugatti CEO Stephan Winklemann stated “Every Chiron that has left our Atelier in the past three years is a technological masterpiece. This also applies to the 250th specimen. Reaching this mark in such a short amount of time is an amazing accomplishment that fills me with pride. I am looking forward to the second half of the production cycle”.

Announced in December 2019, the Bugatti Chiron “Edition Noire Sportive” was one of two new versions of the Chiron inspired directly by the one-off $18.7 million Bugatti La Voiture Noire, an out of this world hypercar that currently holds the title for world’s most expensive new car.

Priced from $3.3 million each and limited to only 20 cars (that are still part of the original 500 production run), the Chiron “Noire Sportive” version is the sport focused model and featured a matt-black body while the Chiron “Noire Elegance” shares the same exposed gloss carbon-fiber bodywork as the original La Voiture Noire.

Bugatti have stated that of the 250 Chiron’s left to be produced, 150 have already been allocated and paid for, leaving only 100 build slots available which is only 20% of the Chiron pool left available to personalize. If you liked the original $18.7 million La Voiture Noire and have a spare $3.3 million stashed away, now might be your chance to get in quick and lock in a Chiron version of it for yourself.
