Horacio Pagani Discusses $3.5 Million Pagani Huayra Roadster BC in Short Documentary
Pagani release short documentary discussing the design and thoughts behind the $3.5 million Pagani Roadster BC designed for special client.
Always game to try something different, Pagani first “revealed” the Huayra Roadster BC in August 2019 as a digital car model in the online car racing game “CSR2”, allowing players to select and race the Huayra Roadster BC.
Shortly after it was revealed in real life for the first time at the Monterey Car Week 2019.
Born out of a client’s dream for a new street-legal work of art, the idea for the Pagani Huayra Roadster BC was first formed back in 2017. It took two years of both scientific research and designers, engineers and master craftsmen working together to create the extreme performance machine weighing just 1,250kg.
Throughout the research & design process questions were asked by team members, like “Can one focus on extreme performance without compromising satisifying smooth driveability?” and “Can lightness and safety be fused with design and elegance?”.
In response, innovative answers were sought to create a machine that truly exceeded all expectations of the client who had first commissioned it.
