Built in December 2019, this one of 1,948 Porsche 911 Speedster is the final vehicle of the seventh generation (991) production line and will be accompanied by a letter of authenticity from Porsche to confirm the chassis number as the last serial number in this model.

Finished in GT Silver Metallic paint, the 911 Speedster features the Heritage Design package, a styling program introduced by Porsche in 2019 that draws inspiration from historical Porsche vehicles between the 1950’s – 1980’s and uses styling materials like corduroy, the iconic Pepita pattern and tartans.

The winning bidder will also receive the following as part of the package:

  • A special handover event in the USA hosted by Klaus Zellmer, President and CEO of Porsche Cars North America
  • A personal behind-the-scenes tour of the Porsche AG Weissach Development headquarters in Weissach, Germany for the winning bidder and a guest that includes a lap on the test track and a 1:1 meeting with Dr. Frank-Steffen Walliser (head of the 911 projects) and Andreas Preuninger (head of the GT model lines).
  • An exclusive hand-made book that features photographs of the assembly and completion of the last 991 on the production line along with photographs and sketches from the Speedster design team.
  • A limited-edition Porsche 911 Speedster Heritage Design Chronograph watch designed exclusively for 911 Speedster clients. This one in particular features a strap made from the same cognac leather as 911 Speedster being auctioned and will also include the chassis number on the design, making it even more unique.

United Way Worldwide will be the beneficiary of the auction, with funds being donated to its COVID-19 Fund in the U.S.

Speaking on the impact of the auction Klaus Zellmer, President and CEO of Porsche Cars North America shared, “We are all profoundly affected by the current situation and the immediate impact it’s having on those most at risk in our communities. United Way continues to step up to the plate and their response to this crisis has been quite impressive. So we are proud to do our part. I also appreciate the swift support of RM Sotheby’s to make this possible and I am hopeful that the sale of a very special Porsche will help in a small way.”
