The new Lamborghini SC20 supercar is the Italian brand’s second one-off design to come from the Squadra Corse motorsport division who worked alongside the Centro Stile design team to create a track-focused vehicle approved for road use.

While other manufacturers have released limited edition production runs of windscreen-less supercars recently (like the Ferrari Monza SP1 & SP2 and the McLaren Elva), Lamborghini has created their equivalent to date only on request for individual customers.

With the owner involved from the very first drawings of the design process, the goal of this vehicle was to create a unique design that incorporated the aerodynamics of Lamborghini’s race models with extreme styling.

“Two years after the SC18 Alston, the SC20 was a new, intriguing challenge,” says Mija Borkert, Lamborghini Centro Stile Head of Design. “The chief sources of inspiration were the Diablo VT Roadster, Aventador J, Veneno Roadster and Concept S, and the result is a dramatic combination of creativity and racing attitude.”

Finished in Bianco Fu (white) and Blu Cepheus (blue) with a matching interior, the livery accentuates the design of the entire carbon fiber body that sees influences of the Aventador’s shark fins reflected in the front splitter, the Huracán GT3 EVO inspired front hood and the aerodynamic side panels reminiscent of the Essenza SCV12.
