Bentlely Reveals 2022 Continental GT Speed Convertible
Bentley’s new third-generation 2022 Continental GT Speed Convertible joins its coupe sibling as the top-of-the-line convertible model for the Continental family.
Earlier this year, Bentley revealed the new 2022 Continental GT Speed as the top-of-the-line coupe model of the Continental GT family and has now followed it up with the Convertible edition.
Hand-built in Crewe and created as the most driver-focused convertible in the Continental GT range, the new third-generation Continental GT Speed Convertible houses an enhanced version of Bentley’s famed 6.0-liter W12 engine delivering a 0-60mph sprint speed of 3.6 seconds and a top speed of 208 mph.
The latest model has also received enhancements to the chassis technology and includes All-Wheel Steering, Bentley’s three-chamber active air suspension with adaptive damping, Bentley’s Dynamic Ride feature, and the option of carbon-ceramic brakes to achieve maximum agility while still retaining the ride-comfort Bentley is known for.
Visually the GT Speed Convertible model can be quickly recognized by the unique 22” Speed wheels, exterior Speed sport sills, dark tint grilles, and Speed badging found on the outside of the vehicle, while the interior includes Speed badging on the passenger fascia and other detailing specific to the Speed models.

The new Bentley Continental GT Speed Convertible also offers owners the choice of seven exterior roof colors to fully customize the look of their new vehicle, with Bentley’s unique Z-fold convertible roof system being one of the most advanced of its kind and able to be deployed or stowed in 19 seconds, even with the vehicle traveling up to speeds of 30mph.
