Dodgeball Supercar Rally | Monaco to Marbella | 5 – 9 September 2019

This years Dodgeball’s Summer Supercar Rally (they also hold Desert & Winter versions!) sees the party setting off from Monaco with a stop in St Tropez for lunch and heading to the walled city of Carcassonne all in the first day. The Colorado Grand® Car Rally | Colorado, USA | 9 – 14 September 2019

International Motor Show | Frankfurt, Germany | 12 – 22 September 2019

The International Motor Show (or Internationale Automobil-Ausstellung as its officially known as) is known as the world’s largest motor show. Held annually, it alternates each year between passenger vehicles (Frankfurt) and commercial vehicles (Hanover) and introduces the latest in design and innovation in the automotive world. Leading luxury car brands will often reveal their latest projects in this forum so it’s a great chance to see them first!

Bullrush Rally | Sydney to Surfers Paradise | 17 – 22 September 2019

Singapore Grand Prix

Bernina Gran Tourismo | St Moritz | 20 – 22 September 2019

Held over 3 days at the end of summer (once the high traffic has gone!), the Bernina Gran Turismo is a modern day hillclimb race for historic cars that seeks to revive the heritage of the original Bernina Grand Prix held in St Moritz back in 1929-1930. With a maximum of 80 competitors this is a friendly and intimate event, participants are treated to spectacular Alpine scenery as they race to complete six runs along 5.7 km of closed road along the Bernina Pass road between La Rösa and Hospizio Bernina.

More than just a race though, the Bernina Gran Tourismo offers a chance to enjoy the surrounding areas of St Moritz and in the past has included events like an automotive film festival held at the Hotel Reine Victoria in St Moritz-Bad and parties held at St. Moritz’s private members-only Dracula Club (founded in the 1974 by one of St Moritz’s most colourful characters, Gunter Sachs who was married to Brigitte Bardot).

Formula 1 Hungarian Grand Prix | Hungaroring, Budapest | 2 – 4 August 2019

Held on the twisty Hungaroring track, the Hungarian Grand Prix has been held here annually as part of the F1 World Championship since 1986 thanks to Bernie Ecclestone who orchestrated the first F1 race to occur behind the Iron Curtain. For many years due to the design of the track (often narrow and only allowing single file with drivers unable to pass), teams relied heavily on pit-stop strategy to win the race but in recent years there have been modifications to allow better passing.

Mercedes AMG Winter Wonderland | Queenstown, New Zealand | 1,2,3 August 2019

This year Mercedes AMG are heading to the Southern Hemisphere Proving Grounds to let guests take the AMG fleet (including the A45, CLA45 and C63S) through their paces.

Guests will be transported from airport to the hotel and will have a welcome dinner on day one. The next day will be a full day of driver training followed by another group dinner before a relaxed breakfast the following morning and transfers to airport on the final day.

Cost for attendee’s starts at AU$4,600 per person including two nights accommodation, driver training and meals. Partners are also welcome at a cost of $300, however are not able to participate in the driving training events.

Day 1 – Arrive in the afternoon the day prior to your drive day. Transfers from Queenstown Airport to the St Moritz Hotel, check in and welcome dinner in Queenstown.

Day 2 – Your drive experience begins – 1, 2 or 3 August

  • 8.30am arrival at the AMG Lodge for registration
  • Driver Briefing by Peter Hackett, Chief Driving Instructor
  • Morning session on the snow fields – time to develop your car control
  • Lunch in the AMG Lodge
  • Afternoon session on the snow fields – more speed, more challenges, its to really test yourself
  • Hot lap with an AMG Driving Instructor like you have never experienced before!
  • 5.00pm departure and return to St Moritz Hotel. Dinner in Queenstown.

Day 3 – Breakfast, relax and transfers to Queenstown Airport for your flight departure.

Cars will be departing Pebble Beach at 9am and make their way to Ocean Avenue in Carmel-by-the-Sea so be sure to find yourself a good spot along the way to watch the procession go by. If you miss them in action, they will be on display at Ocean Avenue from midday to 2PM before heading back to Pebble Beach.

Goodwood Festival of Speed | Goodwood Estate, UK | 4 – 7 July 2019

Founded in 1993, The Goodwood Festival of Speed is a traditional hill climb event held in the beautiful parklands surrounding the historic Goodwood House and Estate of Lord March. The original plan of Lord March was to revive motor racing at the Goodwood Circuit, however the permit required to host the event was not possible so he opted to bring the party back to his place so to speak.

Often considered the ultimate summer garden party of motoring enthusiasts, the relaxed nature of the event allows visitors to roam the paddocks and get up close and personal with the drivers and cars, while reinforced straw bales separating the race track allows for excellent viewing by all. Not an event to be missed!

Ferrari Corso Pilota Evolution | Monticello Motor Club, New York | 8 & 9 July 2019

The Ferrari evolution course helps drivers develop their on-road driving skills in a 488 challenge race car. Drivers will be stepping onto the racetrack, engaging in dynamic skill trials, adaptive sports driving techniques as well as having telemetric analysis data to track progression.

Course is held over two days and includes 5-star accommodation, transfers and all meals.

Formula 1 German Grand Prix | Hockenheimring | 26 – 28 July 2019

The German Grand Prix returns once again to Hockenheimring! One of the oldest motor races (having running most years since 1926), it has alternated between the Nürburgring in Rhineland-Palatinate and Hockenheimring in Baden-Württemberg from 2007 – 2014 before the Nürburgring withdrew from hosting the event after a change of ownership.

Since that time it has run every second year at Hockenheimring until 2018 and managed to gain an extra year stretching to 2019…so get tickets this year because who knows when it will be back again!
