Founded in 1993, The Goodwood Festival of Speed is a traditional hill climb event held in the beautiful parklands surrounding the historic Goodwood House and Estate of Lord March. The original plan of Lord March was to revive motor racing at the Goodwood Circuit, however the permit required to host the event was not possible so he opted to bring the party back to his place so to speak.
Often considered the ultimate summer garden party of motoring enthusiasts, the relaxed nature of the event allows visitors to roam the paddocks and get up close and personal with the drivers and cars, while reinforced straw bales separating the race track allows for excellent viewing by all. Not an event to be missed!

Since that time it has run every second year at Hockenheimring until 2018 and managed to gain an extra year stretching to 2019…so get tickets this year because who knows when it will be back again!
