Echo Yachts launch new range of fully customizable 27m catamaran Motoryachts and Shadow Vessels ahead of the 2019 Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show (FLIBS).

Australian custom superyacht builder Echo Yachts are pleased to announce the addition of two new, fully customizable 27m catamaran Motoryacht and Shadow Vessel designs to their recently launched ‘Design Collection’.

Misha Merzliakov Yacht Design is responsible for the exterior styling and layout of the innovative, stable and high-volume catamarans which feature a progressive arrangement and chiselled modern styling aesthetic with extensive glass surfaces on the superstructure.

One of the primary design features is the 53m2 beach club and aft entertaining space. A unique central companionway provides cabins direct access to beach club. With the water toys cleared off the aft deck and central hydraulic platform lowered, the entire stern area becomes a beautiful waterfront retreat, out of the wind and with entertaining in mind. Space for multiple jet skis, sea bobs and tenders – all protected from the weather take just minutes to launch and retrieve.

Notably the layout focuses on utilization of the above deck areas for living and entertaining, with majority of cabins below deck. The sumptuous Master Cabin of over 50m2 includes an option of a private owner’s den in the port hull. Discrete crew cabins access, dumbwaiter to serve the formal areas upstairs.

A raised pilothouse with full walk-arounds provides excellent 360-degree views, including a full glass atrium effect for skylight views. Options for elevators and wide hallways support disabled access if required.

The Shadow Vessel option provides support needs for motherships and stand-alone adventure cruising. With a fast transit and relocation speed of 25 knots these unique vessels provide the functionality usually only seen in much larger vessels offering helicopter operations, decompression chamber / dive room, gym, additional crew accommodation and luxurious guest cabins.

Crewing requirements and operating expenses are minimized through simplicity of layout and design. Utilizing the proven benefits of the catamaran hull, including natural stability, shallow draft, high tunnel clearance, excellent efficiency and the redundancy of having twin engine rooms, each vessel type provides ultimate enjoyment whether it be optioned for private or charter operations.

The Echo Yachts team provides the benefit of decades of multi-hull and aluminium construction experience, combined with the capacity to complete new builds quickly and to high standards. A build time frame of 18 months is projected for these vessels.

Larger variants are currently under development. Echo Yachts’ total design flexibility ensures the concept can be adapted to a broad range of sizes, models and purpose, to fulfill any client or regionally specific requirements.

Echo Yachts will be attending the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show held 30th October – 3rd November and available for sales and trade inquiries.

Presented by The Italian Sea Group, the “Tecnomar for Lamborghini 63” has been inspired by the hybrid Lamborghini Siàn FKP 37 and references the year of Lamborghini’s beginnings – 1963.

As a new super sport motor yacht that blends the best of the nautical and sports car worlds, the Tecnomar for Lamborghini 63″ bears the same Lamborghini style steering wheel with its iconic fighter jet style “start” button, and a signature Lamborghini “racing style” seat for the captain.

The project initially started as a joint design analysis between Tecnomar and the Lamborghini Style Center, to interpret common traits and blend the DNA of the two brands into an ultra-luxury sports yacht.

Sporting two MAN V12-2000HP engines for a total 4000CV, the Tecnomar for Lamborghini 63 motor yacht can reach 60 knots of speed and will be the fastest boat in the Tecnomar fleet of The Italian Sea Group. The unmistakable signature Lamborghini fighter pilot styled “start & stop” button will also be present on the yacht in two units, one per engine.

The “Tecnomar for Lamborghini 63” yacht is available in three main variants:

LOUNGE VERSION: The open space is the concept, functional and essential, with a fully equipped kitchen, headboard for guests and closet, a large open space with lounge sofas and wardrobe. Last but not least the owner’s private bathroom to always have your privacy.

1 CABIN VERSION: Maintaining the design and style of the lounge version, the kitchen is divided from the bow area, thus obtaining a king size bed from the sofa. The bow cabin is therefore equipped with large spaces and a dedicated owner bathroom.

2 CABIN VERSION: The new ideal solution to optimize space and have the best of comfort, Two independent cabins. The owner cabin with its king size maintains comfort levels worthy of a super luxury hotel. The guest cabin was created to accommodate a couple of friends or two children thanks to the possibility of having two separate singles that can be joined together in a large king size. The shared bathroom has significant spaces with ample storage and a dream shower.

Sharing on the collaboration, Giovanni Constantino CEO of The Italian Sea Group said, “In May we announced that we had signed the agreement with Automobili Lamborghini and today we are presenting Tecnomar for Lamborghini 63, a motor yacht that I am sure will become a futuristic icon like the car that inspired it. Select owners around the world will own not only the fastest Tecnomar motor yacht in the fleet, but a unique Tecnomar for Lamborghini 63. I am proud to have (been) chosen to create this innovative and challenging project with Automobili Lamborghini that combines technology, excellence in design, quality and performance and that will give us great satisfaction “.

“This yacht best represents what it means for us to create a quality partnership,” said Katia Bassi, Marketing and Communication Chief Executive Officer of Automobili Lamborghini. “The essence of all our collaborations consists in transferring our style and our experience in worlds that despite their diversity, have (something) in common with our traits so that they can be interpreted to add value. If I had had to imagine a Lamborghini on the water, this would have been my vision. I am therefore happy to celebrate this success today”.

Tecnomar for Lamborghini 63 is not merely an exercise in style and design, but represents the vanguard of luxury speed boats. Inspired by Lamborghini super sports cars’ performance, two of the most innovative elements are at the core of its design concept – speed and dynamic lightness.

Like their supercar siblings, the motor yachts will feature extensive use of carbon fiber, guaranteeing an ultralight boat classification with a maximum weight of 24 tons for 63 feet in length and is the fastest Tecnomar performance yacht to date. Looking inside the Tecnomar by Lamborghini will feature two bedrooms and a bathroom all of which are 100% customizable to an owner’s tastes through the Lamborghini Ad Personam program.

Customers who wish to use the Ad Personam Program can configure their yacht directly by contacting the commercial department of The Italian Sea Group at the following email address: sales@tecnomar63.com

With the support of their team of experts, it is possible to follow all the stages of the project starting from defining the colors, materials, to the production status of your super sports yacht.

Tecnomar is currently taking orders with deliveries set to begin from next year.

While reported earlier this year that this year’s Monaco Yacht Show would still be going ahead in September, albeit, under much different circumstances, organizers of the event have since made the decision to cancel the 2020 Monaco Yacht Show.

Hoping that events would be viable in the later part of 2020, show organizer Informa had initially planned on holding a smaller not-for-profit event to aid the superyacht industry but has since been in talks with stakeholders and partners within the international superyacht industry regarding ongoing COVID-19 pandemic concerns.

With many of the worlds superyachts currently located in the US and Caribbean for the forseeable future, and with global travel restrictions in place, it was decided that it was in the industry’s best interest to postpone the Monaco event until next year while focusing on the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show which is still on schedule for October 2020.

“Like many other industries, the international super yachting community has experienced significant disruption in 2020”, Chief Executive of Informa Markets Charlie McCurdy shared. “As we move to the other side of COVID-19, we are remaining agile in how we are supporting our partners and customers, flexing our events calendar, adapting products and providing digital alternatives where beneficial to best meet the needs of international communities through this difficult period. To this end, we are focusing our efforts in the latter part of the year on delivering a strong platform to showcase the industry at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show in late October, with the Monaco Yacht Show now set to return in style in September 2021, when it will celebrate its 30th anniversary.”

The Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show is one of the largest international yachting events globally and is expected to host more than 900 boats, including 100 superyachts.

Earlier this year, Viareggio-based Rossinavi announced they had a busy year ahead with three separate superyacht projects scheduled to be delivered and it would appear the COVID-19 pandemic hasn’t slowed them down one bit as Florentia’s launch marks second completed superyacht for the year.

Described as a “timeless project with fluid and elegant exterior lines”, Florentia was sold in 2017 and was the project that first brought Rossinavi back to building a boat over 52 meters with more than 500GT.

Built as a full-displacement superyacht with a steel hull and aluminum superstructure, the exterior design was completed by Studio Vafiadis while the interior styling was courtesy of A++ Design Studio.

Commenting on the exterior design of Florentia, Stefano Vafiadis of Studio Vafiadis shared, “Florentia is the most representative example of a fully bespoke superyacht made in Italy. This is a boat entirely designed and built around the owner and his needs. We’ve been challenged with the difficult brief to create a timeless gem where classic features and shapes meet modern details.”

Regarding the interior design of Florentia, Carlo Colombo of A++ Studio shared that the design had been “inspired by the shapes of nature and ocean waves combined with technology and continuous research of design functionality” and that “the soft lines of the boat’s architecture style pervade the space, complementing neutral colours and precious materials contributing to a unique and refined yacht for a peaceful and relaxing experience.”

Rossinavi had also previously shared, “The aim of our design is to create a new milestone in the yachting industry, an elegant beauty that will never get old and satisfy all of her owner’s dreams.”

An earlier description of Florentia mentions a staircase, set to be the sculptural heart of the boat, and a mirrored ring placed in the center of the master suite to bring reflections of the sea inside the room.

The Rossinavi built Florentia superyacht is able to accommodate 12 guests, which a master suite on the main deck, a VIP suite on the fly deck and two double guest bedrooms on the lower deck alongside the crew quarters which includes a kitchen, living room, laundry and crew accommodation for 12.
